If MHJ, Joe Alt and Olumuyiwa Fashanu are gone. And the Jets believe that Brock Bowers is overrated. Is there a trade back scenario or player that can help this team now, in our limited Rodgers window?
If the jets do decide to trade down to the back end of round 1 ( 24-32 area) to acquire a lot more draft capital what offensive pieces do you see the jets targeting there as well as some post round 1 prospects?
Would it be wise for The Jets to take an extremely raw prospect in Olu Fashanu who seems like he’s two years away with his development in a win now mode? Do you trust The Jets staff (Keith Carter) to develop him to be that guy for the next decade?
Not a question but a thought.
There going to have to draft a Tackle
Instead of Going the free agent route. I don’t see free agents wanting to play for Keith Carter
I think if you think the Oline is the most important position that needs to be filled this offseason then I think you should want Fuaga. Feel like outside of Alt he is the most pro-ready OT this draft. He comes in and plays RT year 1 giving you the ability to put AVT at LT and fix the online. I believe that fixing the Oline through FAs is the route we should go. We just saw what a great QB with a sub-par online can do. They just won a Playoff game. I think target 1 for the Jets should be Rome Odunze to partner with Garret Wilson. If Rome is gone i would take a serious and hard look at Brock Bowers
